Donna Smith
1. What brought you to All Angels? I relocated to LBK from Lakewood Ranch.
2. What service do you attend? 10 AM
3. What is your favorite animal? Dog
Originally from St. Louis, MO, I am widowed, but now happily engaged to Bob Henkel. I have a daughter, Elizabeth, and a son, Peter. Elizabeth lives in Charlotte, NC, and has two sons, Jack and Nicholas. Peter is not married yet, and lives in Manhattan.
I joined the Episcopal Church about five years ago; previously, being a member of the Roman Catholic Church. Upon joining, I worshipped at St. Boniface Episcopal Church on Siesta Key, where I was a member of the Vestry, the Grants & Outreach committee, and the Strategic Planning committee. During my years as a Roman Catholic, I was on the boards of a Catholic children’s hospital, Catholic Charities of St. Louis, a Catholic organization providing educational opportunities for disadvantaged youth, and my parish’s finance committee. Since being in Sarasota, I served at a food program for AIDS victims and mentored Latino students with UnidosNow. My professional life has been concentrated on finance and accounting, both in the corporate world and in the consulting industry.

1. What brought you to All Angels? I began attending All Angels shortly after BJ and I met in 2011.
2. What service do you attend? Typically 8:00
3. What is your favorite animal? Our crazy and loving puppy, Clemmie
We reside just around the corner from the church. I had a little bit of second-hand Vestry experience when my wife, BJ, served. I am a retired professional educator with many years in the local public school system.

1. What brought you to All Angels? We moved here in June of 2021, from Fairfield Ohio, a city located just north of Cincinnati.
2. What service do you attend? My wife Natalie and I attend the 10:00 am service.
3. What is your favorite animal? My favorite animal has to be the dog; loyal and not judgmental. However, every dog we owned had its own personality which has been mostly good.
I am Richard “Brian” Davis, a retired police officer of 33 years from the City of Fairfield. Prior to that, I served in the US Air Force as a law enforcement specialist. Growing up I attended UCC, then after marrying Natalie in 1987 we started attending the Episcopal church in which we were married. Natalie’s’ father John and mother Beverly Henry have been long time members of All Angels. We started attending when we vacationed here in the early 2000’s. We have always enjoyed the church and its members. We have four married children and twelve grandchildren ages 1 to 19, that if you haven’t noticed, we love to talk about.
As a police officer I was not always able to make Sunday services, but Natalie made sure our children were at church as often as possible and involved in different youth groups and activities. Our children seem to be following our path by being active in the churches they attend.
